Time and Performance Management Training Course

Course manual now available in Chinese

See Dr. Tyler's article published in RFP Magazine in February 2007

Introduction
This one-day course in Time and Performance Management aims to present delegates with the tools to effectively manage their time at work. People from all industries often suggest that they know how to manage their time, however, studies show that even with a short course on this topic, people can make vast improvements and claim upwards of one hour per day extra without working overtime!

The necessity of this Time & Performance Management Course
In today’s fast-paced world there is a strong need for individuals who can perform to the best of their abilities and who are effective at managing the resources that are available to them. One of these resources is time. Time is an interesting resource: it is invisible, it cannot be increased or decreased (there are only ever 24 hours in a day) and it is spent the moment it is received. We pay much attention to how we manage and spend other resources, such as the Human Resource or Financial Capital, yet we pay little attention to the management of time, often expecting that staying an extra few hours at work will produce a multitude of returns. But, what if we had been more effective during our regular day – and indeed, how can we be more effective during those overtime hours? This course aims to answer the above questions and provide you with a "toolbox" of skills that you can take away with you and practically implement in your current work environment.

In-House and Public Courses
PsyAsia International is pleased to offer this time & performance management course as an in-house course as well as a public course. The public course has been designed to cover the essentials of time and performance management in one day at the request of our previous and enquiring delegates. Our in-house course may likewise be provided over a full day, or, alternatively, over two half-days. For organizations that are able to devote more time to the important issue of time and performance management, two full-days are more common. Here we use a greater number of practical exercises to reinforce the learned principles. For in-house courses, we usually also make a company visit prior to the course to ensure our understanding of the complexities of time management specific to each client organization's working environment.
