 What happens if I cancel my registration on a PsyAsia training course?

If you need to cancel your course registration, please first consider sending a substitute delegate.  We do not charge any additional processing or administration fee for changing the delegate. If you are registered for a higher level course such as our Psychometric Assessment at Work course, the substitute delegate will need to be astute enough to get through the course.

We previously went through a period of time where many people would register on a course and then cancel at the last minute, leaving us with only a handful of attendees, yet still having to cover course manual, certificate, training room, lunch, hotel, flight, refreshment and other expenses.  We reviewed the policies of other training providers in Asia and found that many had a no refund/transfer policy.  However, PsyAsia has the following policy:

Cancellations for any course other than our BPS Level A and B*
Cancellations made more than 45 days before the course goes ahead: 60% refund
Cancellations made 31-45 days before the course goes ahead: 35% refund
Cancellations made 30 days or less before the course goes ahead: no refund

Cancellations for our BPS Level A and B course*
Cancellations made more than 45 days before the course goes ahead: 65% refund
Cancellations made 31-45 days before the course goes ahead: 40% refund
Cancellations made 15-30 days before the course goes ahead: Level A: SG$500/HK$2500 refund / Level B: SG$1000/HK$5000 refund / Level A&B: SG$1500/HK$7500 refund
Cancellations made 14 days or less before the course goes ahead: no refund

Transfer to future courses
PsyAsia will transfer BPS Level A and B delegates who are unable to make the course for which they have registered to the next scheduled course in exceptional circumstances.   In this case, the delegate must advise us at least 30 days before the course goes ahead.  There will be a transfer charge of SG$450/HK$2250.  In addition, delegates will be required to pay any course fee increases that occur in the interim. 

We do not offer the transfer service to those attending our other courses.

*If the cancellation results in lowering the number of attendees on a group booking to below the discount threshold, any discounts will be cancelled and the client will be required to pay the difference. Refunds where applicable will be sent to the address we hold on file within 30 days of the end of the course for which you registered. For refunds to overseas accounts, all bank fees will be paid by the client.
