No. In order to protect our intellectual rights and our copyright, downloading and saving of any of the site to your computer or other devices is strictly not permitted. Our servers will monitor for abuse of the above policy and where recorded, we may terminate your account with immediate effect and take any recovery action that may be deemed necessary. Please only access the course and related materials from within your user account online. The above excludes downloading of pdf files where we have expressly asked you to do so. In this case, those files are for your personal use and must not be shared with anybody.
Yes. PsyAsia International uses PayPal to process payments. PayPal is highly trusted by millions of online shoppers and retailers alike. Feel free to browse PayPal’s policies at their site: http://www.paypal.com. Please note that PsyAsia does not have access to your credit card number or other details that you give to PayPal through their secure site. We are simply informed that the person with your email address has paid. Please therefore ensure that you give PayPal the same email address as you gave to us at our Online Learning Centre registration.
Yes, you can get immediate access to the course after your payment. Note that in the odd case, PayPal may need to verify your payment and hence your access to the course may be slightly delayed. Whilst we've never experienced this, it is mentioned in PayPal's terms!
No, this would be a violation of our terms of service. The course fee is for one person and is valid for the period of enrollment provided for that particular course. Our server monitors all log-ins and access details. If it discovers that your account is being accessed from varying IP addresses, further investigation will be undertaken and if we discover duplicate use of your log-in details, your account will be terminated without notice. If there are a group of people who would like to register for a course, do let us know (click on email at the PsyAsia site and then choose the “Online Learning” department) and we will consider providing a group discount. Discounts are not offered on hard-copy certificates.
Yes the course can be studied in parts, at your own pace. This is one of the many competitive advantages of our online courses. In fact, the system can even remember where you were when you last logged in (provided your cookies are enabled for our site). Don’t forget to note your enrollment expiry date though!
Certainly. Almost every week we design customized real-world courses to be run in-house for multi-national, government and local organizations in Asia and beyond. We can apply the same expert knowledge and reputation for excellence to online learning. To save your time and ours, please ensure that the course is within our scope (organizational psychology and human resource management) and then give us as much detail as possible about the aims and objectives and proposed syllabus in addition to the people the course is aimed at and how many are likely to take the course. We will then be able to provide you with an estimated fee which will include a component for the design of the course and a per person component for each person who takes the course.

It’s our belief that you simply can’t beat our professionally designed and presented public and in-house, real-life training. Being in a classroom with like-minded individuals, taking part in a myriad of exercises and role-play, receiving immediate feedback from co-delegates and the expert facilitator have to be second to none! Our online courses provide a great alternative to this. You’ll get the same syllabus with the same aims and objectives. The slides are specially modified for online learning and the content is interactive. The trainer will say the same as s/he would say during the real-life course. Online training cannot have the same recognition as real-life training, but we know our online training is better than the many poorly designed real-life courses out there and certainly it is a great option for those unable to attend our real-life events.

Different people take differing lengths of time to complete. In the course details for each page, we list an average completion time, in addition to the enrollment length. The enrollment length is the amount of time that you will be able to access the course for with your payment. Once this expires you will need to enroll again by paying the course fee again.
Payment where required can be made online via credit card using PayPal for prompt access. Please note that to prevent fraudulent transactions, PayPal requires us to physically verify transactions. This means that there will be a short delay after you register before you can access the course. During Hong Kong/Singapore business hours the delay will be no more than 30 minutes. Outside of these hours, you may need to wait until around 30 minutes after the start of business in Hong Kong/Singapore for our staff to verify your payment. All payments are verified promptly and within one business day. Alternatively, we can invoice for payment by telegraphic transfer or local cheque. For non-automated payments, a 10% administration and processing fee will apply. Local cheque payments apply only in Hong Kong, Singapore or the United Kingdom. Telegraphic transfer applies from worldwide to our accounts in Hong Kong, Singapore or the United Kingdom. All bank fees must be paid by the sender.

There will not be any narration and certificates will not be issued as these will be issued already as part of the in-house training contract. No support will be offered as this is an added value service. The idea is to facilitate deeper learning following the course by allowing delegates to review the slides in their own time. The internal contact (the person who booked PsyAsia) will receive an enrollment code and they should distribute this to all those who attended. The code must not be given to anybody who did not attend. Access will be granted free of charge for a period of 2 weeks following the course and only to the course that was attended.

In most courses, learning games and quizzes are spaced throughout the course for your learning and review. At the end of the course there is a final assessment. Of course, this is entirely optional. However if you wish to receive a certificate of any kind (soft or hard copy), you must pass this final assessment. You have two chances to pass for most courses (one for accreditation courses). The pass rate is 75%-80% dependng on the course. If you fail the first attempt, the system will advise you to retake the course where applicable. You should ensure that you do this within the validity of your enrollment. You will then have a second chance to complete the assessment free of charge. If you pass it on the second attempt, a certificate will be issued as per our normal procedure outlined in these FAQs. If you fail your second attempt, you will need to re-enroll in the course, even if you have enrollment time remaining. If this happens to you, we suggest you make the most use of your remaining enrollment time by continuing to go through the course and other quizzes. When this expires, pay for and re-enroll in the course. Then take the quiz again, after some more course review if you still need to. Ideally of course, you should not take the second attempt at the course assessment until you are absolutely ready and therefore would not be subjected to additional re-assessment fees!
We list the contents of the course in the course information box so that you know what you are signing up to when you enroll, so please do read this carefully. Learning new things is not always easy and sometimes can be a challenge! Persistence is often the key! However, if you really feel you are getting nowhere, please contact us (click on email at the PsyAsia site and then choose the “Online Learning” department) within 24 hours of registering for your course and let us know. We will initially provide you with some web links recommended by the trainer that will provide you with an easier introduction to the topic from where you can then continue with the course. We will also consider (on a case-by-case basis) extending your enrollment period without additional fee so that you have more time to go through the course at a slower pace and be less concerned about your access expiring. We will therefore try to help you as much as we can. We will not however offer a refund of the course fees.
