 | Adverse Weather arrangements for PsyAsia public training courses | |
 | We hope that your course will not be affected by adverse weather. However, here are our arrangements should we encounter heavy rain (black) or a typhoon (T8) in Hong Kong:Postponements will only be made to the start of the training day where either a T8 or black rainstorm signal has been hoisted at http://www.hko.gov.hk/contente.htm. Should this happen, we will start training within 2 hours after the signal has been lowered. If training time of 2-3 hours is lost, training will continue into the early evening to make up. If, in the worst case scenario, we lose a full day of training, we will reschedule this day as soon as possible.If either of the above signals are hoisted once training has commenced for the day, we will act according to the advice of the local authorities. If we are told to remain inside, we will continue with the course. If the advice is to go home, we will do so and make up the training time as soon as we can. |

| We are asked this question a lot! Thank you to our friends in India for your interest.At the current time we do not have offices in India. We do not run public training courses in India either. However, we are working with agents in India to possibly change this in the future.However, we do currently sell our online psychometric test products to clients in India. We also run in-house training in psychometrics and human resource management topics in India.Clients may pay in a number of different currencies, US$ included. Payment can be made by telegraphic transfer to our bank accounts in Singapore, Hong Kong or the UK. Alternatively we will also accept credit card. |

| Most of our training courses in Singapore now run at Singapore's best hotel - the Conrad Centennial! We therefore provide an amazing full-buffet lunch along with appetising snacks and a full range of refreshments throughout the day - not to mention an early morning coffee to wake you up when you arrive.Lunch provision for courses in Malaysia, Hong Kong and the UK varies based on the course and venue.If lunch is important to you, please check with our support team before booking.Refreshments are of course provided throughout the day on all courses. |

| Does PsyAsia offer Train-the-Trainer Courses? | |
| PsyAsia's training courses have the benefit of being founded within modern, scientific workplace psychological research and theory. This is then translated into practical concepts that are simple for course delegates to understand and transfer back to their workplace. Within this philosophy is the necessity for facilitators to not only be fully versed in the topic at hand (e.g., Stress Management or Time Management), but also to have a strong grounding in psychology of people at work. Given that most people involved in training (whilst possessing their own unique and valued skills) will not have backgrounds in psychology, PsyAsia does not offer our courses as "Train the Trainer" material.Our in-house training courses are however very economically priced with per delegate fees often less than HK$1000/SG$200 (depending on group size and other requirements). | Does PsyAsia run human resource management and other training courses in the UK? | |
| Yes! PsyAsia has British Psychologists based in Asia as well as a network of associates in the UK. We can run any of the courses you see at our website in the UK. We bring a highly rounded and holistic approach to training with our years of international experience. Our fees are highly competitive and there is no VAT to pay. Payment can be made in GBP into our UK bank account.In addition to the above, from time-to-time, we offer public courses in the UK. When available they will show on the individual course pages along with the location and fee. UK-public courses are always taught by British facilitators with international experience and full registration as psychologists either in the UK or Australia. |

| How do I pay for a PsyAsia course? | |
| Firstly, please complete our online registration form at http://www.psyasia.com/registerPayment MethodsDuring the booking process (page 3), you will be provided with payment options. For most courses these are cheque, ATM and Telegraphic Transfer. For Singapore we also include the option of the Government's e-Vendor System. Where choosing the Government system, please also specify in the comments box (page 3) the business unit that you wish us to invoice. Fee and discount conditions apply to Government payments in the same way they apply to Commercial payments. If you choose a discounted rate, the invoice must be paid by the due date. If the discounted fee results in the payment processing time being too short and the invoice being rejected, we will resubmit with the higher fee. | To view fees for any of our courses you need to look on the right hand side of any course page and select your preferred location under "Next Public Course". Fees will then show along with dates. You can easily view all currently published course dates at http://dates.psyasia.com. We do not publish a list of fees as fees may change based on the market etc. Furthermore, we do not publish course dates more than about 3 months in advance. If a course you are interested in does not show dates then it is not currently available as a public course and you may wish to consider in-house training as an alternative. |

| PsyAsia International is pleased to advise that our business continuity is fully protected against the potential effects of various infectious diseases including H1N1, H5N1 etc. Should an epidemic break out at or around the time of public training courses or scheduled training and consultancy with clients, PsyAsia will work upon the advice of the local government in deciding whether or not to implement the preparedness plan. Where this proves necessary, the plan will be implemented as follows:All face-to-face meetings with clients will be temporarily suspended. We can however immediately instigate online meetings and videoconferencing through various software that we have licensed.All unstarted onsite Consulting work will also be temporarily suspended. | What happens if I cancel my registration on a PsyAsia training course? | |
| If you need to cancel your course registration, please first consider sending a substitute delegate. We do not charge any additional processing or administration fee for changing the delegate. If you are registered for a higher level course such as our Psychometric Assessment at Work course, the substitute delegate will need to be astute enough to get through the course.We previously went through a period of time where many people would register on a course and then cancel at the last minute, leaving us with only a handful of attendees, yet still having to cover course manual, certificate, training room, lunch, hotel, flight, refreshment and other expenses. We reviewed the policies of other training providers in Asia and found that many had a no refund/transfer policy. However, PsyAsia has the following policy:Cancellations for any course other than our BPS Level A and B*Cancellations made more than 45 days before the course goes ahead: 60% refundCancellations made 31-45 days before the course goes ahead: 35% refundCancellations made 30 days or less before the course goes ahead: no refundCancellations for our BPS Level A an |

| What is the registration deadline for PsyAsia's public training courses? | |
| Whilst the deadline varies somewhat depending on the course, it is usually around 2 weeks before the course. Please ensure that you allow sufficient time to send us payment and to subsequently complete your pre-course work. Deadlines for the Psychometric Assessment at Work Course are 3 weeks prior to the course if you are registering for Level A and 4 weeks prior to the course for Level B. This is because the pre-course work is more significant for this course. That said, many of our courses fill 8 weeks prior to going ahead and so we would advise firm delegates to register as soon as they can. |

| Where will my training course be held / what will be the venue for my course? | |
| PsyAsia International confirms training course venues 3-4 weeks before the course goes ahead. The venue chosen is based on the number of registrants and the course. We will always choose a comfortable venue conducive to first-class training.In Singapore, most of our courses are conducted at the Conrad Centennial.In Hong Kong there is more variation, but possible venues are Express by Holiday Inn at Causeway Bay, Metropark Hotel at Causeway Bay, Conrad Hotel at Admiralty and various Business Centres in Central. All Hong Kong public courses run on Hong Kong Island.In Malaysia, most courses will run at either the Hilton or Le Meridien above Sentral Station.The above is provided to help you to plan. We do not guarantee these venues until we email registered delegates with confirmation 3-4 weeks before the course. |

| Why can I not find the course I am interested in? | |
| PsyAsia lists all currently published course dates at http://dates.psyasia.comIf the course you are interested in is not listed there then it is not currently scheduled to run publically. We can offer you the option of in-house training though. In this case we come to you and run the training for your team.If the course you are interested in was previously advertised for a date which is later than the current date and the course is no longer listed at http://dates.psyasia.com this is probably because it is fully booked.
